Episode 66: Music
Amplified Oklahoma Show Notes
February 18, 2022
Show Notes
Music is a piece of culture that exists throughout the world, including Oklahoma. Some people just listen to it, some dance, and others play music themselves. This month, we’re showcasing Oklahomans from across the state that enjoyed playing music for work or leisure. So much so that each song you hear in this episode was performed by one of our narrators and recorded during their interview. While some taught music for a living, most offered their services to their communities. Despite leading busy lives, each of the musicians today kept their skills sharp after over 70 years.
