Graduate Research Assistants and Graduate Teaching Assistants support the research, instruction and outreach of the Library in a variety of departments. Some assistantships are eligible tuition waivers and insurance benefits.
The OSU Library launched its internship program in 2005. It now boasts a robust internship program spanning multiple units and providing career experience for students entering the fields of art, strategic communications, history, botany and more.
The OSU Library is one of the largest student employers on campus. Our student assistants are eligible for awards and exclusive scholarship opportunities.
Work Study provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial aid, allowing them to earn money to help pay educational expenses. In order to be employed in a Work Study job, you must have a Work Study award.
For the fall 2017 semester, the OSU Library will offer up to five student assistant positions for first generation college students, preferably freshmen. Once hired, the student will be paired with a mentor selected from OSU Library faculty or staff.
