Trish Weedn - Senate 1988-2000

Trish Weedn was interviewed October 2, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Weedn was elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 1988 and served through 2000. She held the Senate District 15 seat and was a member of the Democratic Party. Mrs. Weedn shares her memories of growing up on a farm, working in various family businesses, and holding elected offices. She also discusses pro-life legislation, helping to create the math and science school, and life after the legislature.
