Skye McNiel was interviewed November 13, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. McNiel was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2006 and is currently serving. She represents House District 29 and is a member of the Republican Party. Mrs. McNiel shares stories about growing up in and continuing to work in the family business including working side by side with her mother and grandmother. She discusses her philosophy on serving in the legislature and about some of her efforts in support of the rural way of life.
