Odilia Dank - House of Representatives 1994-2006
Odilia Dank was interviewed October 31, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Dank was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1994 and served through 2006. She represented House District 85 and was a member of the Republican Party. Mrs. Dank talks about her career in education, serving in the minority party for 10 of 12 years in the House, and being fully engaged in the House Education Committee. She also discusses issues she supported such as ensuring legislators have the opportunity to read a bill before voting on it and providing parental notification in regards to the health and well-being of children and the unborn.
