Nancy Virtue - House of Representatives 1982-1986.
Nancy Virtue Lewis was interviewed March 26, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Lewis (Virtue while serving) was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1982 and served through 1986. She represented House District 53 and was a member of the Democratic Party. Legislation she sponsored restricting the sale of alcohol and smokeless tobacco among children is discussed along with the major role she played, after leaving the legislature, in developing what is now the University of Oklahoma-Schusterman Campus.
