Nancy Riley - Senate 2000-2008
Nancy Riley was interviewed May 19, 2008 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Riley was elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2000 and served through 2008. She held the Senate District 37 seat and during tenure she changed membership from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party. Mrs. Riley explains her path to being elected to the state senate including experiences as a teacher. She also discusses her freshman orientation, legislation, and committee work.
