Ann Coody - House of Representatives 2004-
Ann Coody was interviewed January 21, 2009 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Coody was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2004 and is currently serving. She represents House District 64 and is a member of the Republican Party. Mrs. Coody discusses her life before the legislature which included teaching, being a high school guidance counselor, and working her way up to being a high school principal. She also talks about some of work while serving such as supporting legislation to allow certified bailiffs to wear a gun and pushing for a program to teach financial literacy.
