David Schaap
editor and instructional developer of "Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting," Sixth Edition

David Schaap has been working for FPP/IFSTA since 2012. He moved to a part-time instructional developer position after joining in the Stillwater Fire Department in 2016. He has worked on other projects including "Hazardous Materials Technician," Second Edition and "Hazardous Materials for First Responders," Fifth Edition. He graduated from OSU with a Master's degree in professional writing, and lives in Perkins, Oklahoma with his wife, Kristina.
Airport firefighters, airport driver operators, and airport crew chiefs will use this text to meet the most current NFPA, FARs, and ICAO requirements.
