W. Wyatt Hoback
co-author of "Academic Advising: A Handbook for Advisors and Students"

W. Wyatt Hoback joined Oklahoma State University in summer 2014 after a 15-year career as a professor of Biology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He teaches non-major and major courses in Entomology, has a sustained record of collaboration with international students, and conducts research on insect ecology and conservation. He has published three book chapters and more than 100 teaching and research articles.
Academic advising is an on-going, international educational partnership that plays a crucial role in a student's success. To aid students, advisors are required to provide students with information and resources that will facilitate their sense of direction in identifying programs of study. This handbook provides advisors information and strategies to improve advising success.
