Theresa Rizzi
co-author of "Atlas of Canine and Feline Blood Smears"

Dr. Theresa Rizzi is a clinical associate professor in the Veterinary Pathobiology Department. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the State University of New York-College at Old Westbury and her DVM from Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Science. Dr. Rizzi is a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
The "Atlas of Canine and Feline Peripheral Blood Smears" is a visual guide to the morphology of blood cells of dogs and cats. Written by a team of experts, this atlas demonstrates how to interpret blood smears and recognize hematologic cellular responses to inflammation, infection, and toxicity.
