Gene Halleck

Gene Halleck is a professor in the English Department. She is the director of the TESL and Linguistics Program, the International Composition Program and the International Teaching Assistant Program.

"English Composition Simulations" includes 15 simulations written for ESL/EFL classes. The simulations consist of a variety of thematically related exercises concerning university life, issues in the workplace and issues in the community. The exercises include readings listening assignments, and role cards for radio call-in-shows, and simulated town meetings. Suggestions for writing assignments are included in each chapter.
