Presentation Coaching Returns for Summer

March 1, 2016

Presentation Coaching launched in spring 2016. The new program has returned for the summer session students seeking help with presentations and interviews.

Presentation Coaching, a Library partnership with the OSU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, provides students a chance to exercise their presenting and interviewing skills and gain valuable advice and feedback.

Graduate teaching assistants from the CDIS will hold weekly office hours, Monday and Wednesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday 12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Friday coaching is available by appointment. The program is located in the Edmon Low Creative Studio on the first floor of the Library.

“The program is a creative use of the TAs' talents and allows them to practice the skills they will be using after graduation,” Hui-Fen Chang, the program coordinator, said. “It also furthers the Library's goal of being a one-stop resource for students' academic success.”
