OSU Library Celebrates Authors and Creators

During the week of March 8, the OSU Library honored 45 OSU faculty, staff and students for the 15th annual Celebrating Books by OSU Authors. The event was virtual this year, and featured video interviews with many of the honorees.


Collaboration expands library access for OSU & UPAEP

Oklahoma State University recently expanded its collaboration with Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla, a private university in Puebla, Mexico, to include a reciprocal interlibrary loan agreement. The two institutions have a longstanding partnership that includes student exchanges, dual degree and bridge programs as well as faculty collaborations in multiple academic areas.


Debo web portal brings together scholar's work

The new Angie Debo web portal, available at debo.library.okstate.edu, pulls together a range of resources on Debo's life including primary source materials, contextual essays, photographs, publications, podcasts and teacher resources. The site, which will grow as more assets are developed, launched on Jan. 30, the 131th anniversary of Debo’s birth.


Black History Month Digital Exhibit

At the OSU Library, you can read, watch, listen and explore thousands of items on Black history. The Black History Month digital exhibit showcases recommendations from four OSU students who share movies, books and more that have left an impact with them.


OSU Library receives grant to digitize Flying Farmers footage

The National Film Preservation Foundation awarded the Oklahoma State University Library a $20,000 grant to digitize and preserve 1940s footage of the second annual convention of the National Flying Farmers as well as Farm and Home Week conferences held on OAMC’s campus. The collection, which includes newsreel-style footage, is now available online at library.okstate.edu/flying-farmers.
