Ty Derouen Receives OSU’s Undergraduate Library Research Award
Ty Derouen, son of Johnny and Ivette Derouen of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and a 2015 graduate of Southwest Christian High School in Fort Worth, Texas, received Oklahoma State University’s Undergraduate Library Research Award along with $750 for his research.
Molly Jackson Receives OSU’s Undergraduate Library Research Award
Molly Jackson, daughter of Tony and Rhonda Jackson of Moore, Oklahoma, and a 2015 graduate of Westmoore High School, received Oklahoma State University’s Undergraduate Library Research Award along with $1,500 for her research.
Claire Ringer Receives OSU’s Undergraduate Library Research Award
Claire Ringer, daughter of John and Wendy Ringer of Perry and a 2017 graduate of the Stillwater Christian Home Educators Fellowship, received Oklahoma State University’s Undergraduate Library Research Award along with $1,500 for her research.
Women for OSU name Peggy Helmerich Philanthropist of the Year
Women for OSU will honor Tulsa civic leader and benefactress Peggy Helmerich as its 2019 Philanthropist of the Year at its annual symposium on April 25 in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Tickets are available for the event, which is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Library Awards 56 Scholarships
This spring, the OSU Library awarded $60,550 in scholarships to 56 library student employees.
OSU to host 2 events on digital humanities studies

Undergraduate Library Research Award Applications Now Open
This award recognizes students who have completed or are completing research for course credit or faculty-sponsored independent study. A winner will be chosen from both upperclassman and underclassman category to receive $1,500, and an honorable mention will be chosen from each to receive $750. Applications close March 4, 2019.

The Noon Concert Series returns to the Edmon Low Library this spring with five dates.
Spring 2019 Tech Tuesday @2 Dates Announced
Spring 2019 will see hands-on learning with Adobe products, HTML web editing and video editing. These monthly presentations are an interactive showcase of emerging and innovative technologies.
