Science Cafe: Plastic Pollution in the Environment

This Science Café will focus on Dr. Kaan Kalkan's research of plastic decomposition in the environment. National Earth Day is April 22, and the theme this year is “End Plastic Pollution.”
Program Partners include American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES); American Society of Manufacturing Engineers Technology; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; College of Engineering, Architecture & Technology Student Council; Net Impact OSU; OSU Sierra Club; Society for Environmental Scientists Grad Student Organization; and Tau Beta Pi Honor Society.
Science Café OSU highlights interesting, relevant and current science research. Monthly events offer lively and engaging conversations about science, and feature informal presentations, refreshments, door prizes and Q&A. No science background is assumed or required.
