Presentation Coaching Works Out Students' Skills
March 1, 2016
A new program has arrived at the Edmon Low Library providing training to students seeking help with presentations and interviews.
Presentation Coaching, a Library partnership with the OSU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, will provide students a chance to exercise their presenting and interviewing skills and gain valuable advice and feedback.
Graduate teaching assistants from the CDIS will hold weekly office hours, Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday coaching is available by appointment. The program is located in the Edmon Low Creative Studio on the first floor of the Library.
"The program is a creative use of the TAs' talents and allows them to practice the skills they will be using after graduation," Hui-Fen Chang, the program coordinator, said. "It also furthers the Library's goal of being a one-stop resource for students' academic success."
