Department of History series celebrates professors' books

OSU’s Department of History and the Edmon Low Library are hosting the first of five book talks on Thursday at 4 p.m. via Facebook Live. The series, titled “Why It Matters: Talks on the American Past,” will feature five OSU history professors with books being published in 2020.


IMLS grant supports library OER project

Oklahoma State University, East Central University, Redlands Community College and the Oklahoma Council of Online Learning Excellence have partnered on a three-year project to develop a reliable methodology to assess the efficacy of open education resources on lifelong learning competencies. The project is made possible through a $428,300 National Leadership Grant for Libraries from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.


NEH awards OSU Library nearly $70,000

The Oklahoma State University Library was recently awarded $69,820 by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The grant was part of $40.3 million in new CARES Act economic stabilization grants to support essential operations at more than 300 cultural institutions across the country.
