Creative Studios Launch at the Edmon Low!
August 20, 2015
The OSU Library is unveiling the new Edmon Low Creative Studios in Room 105.
The suite of new tools include the Mac Creative Studio and the Windows Creative Studio, each with three workstations. The Windows PCs are equipped with 10 hyper-threaded core processors and 64 gigabyte of RAM, and the Macs are geared to match. Both studios feature the full Adobe Creative Suite and Blender. The Mac Creative Studio also features Final Cut Pro.
A presentation studio is decked out with cameras, green screen, a podium and meeting table. The Tech to Go desk features check-out hardware such as GoPros, point-and shoot cameras and audio equipment.
Tech check-out is available on a first-come basis. Seats in the studios are available for free by appointment. Reservation can be made at the Tech to Go desk.
Later in the school year, the 3D Creative Studio Sponsored by the OSU Library and the School of Entrepreneurship, a free 3D printing service complete with modeling tools, will be added.
