Textbooks and Course Reserves - Edmon Low Library
Textbook Initiative
The Edmon Low Library purchases required course texts priced at $90 or more to help reduce textbook costs. These are available for 2-hour checkout at the Circulation & Information Desk, ensuring as many students as possible can access them.
Finding a Textbook
Search by title or author, then bring the call number to the Circulation & Information Desk on the first floor to check it out.
Course Reserves
Instructors can place required course materials on reserve so students can access them for short loan periods. Both library-owned and personal copies can be placed on reserve, and items remain on reserve for one calendar year.
OpenOKState
The OpenOKState program supports the creation and use of Open Educational Resources (OER), providing free and low-cost alternatives to traditional textbooks.
