When you can't come to the Library, we bring the Library to you. Any print article, book chapter, or book owned by the Library can be scanned or retrieved and delivered upon request. This request service is available to current OSU-Stillwater faculty, staff and students.

How to Request Materials

Log in to Interlibrary Services to request an article, book, book chapter and more. Complete the form with as much detail as possible and submit the request.

Interlibrary Services staff will retrieve and scan articles or chapters. Once they are ready, you will receive an email with a link to download them from your Interlibrary Services account where they will be available for 30 days.

How to Use Interlibrary Services

Delivery and Pick-Up

Requests can be submitted online at any time and are processed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Articles and chapter scans are delivered electronically to your Interlibrary Services account.
• Books are available for pickup at the Circulation & Information Desk on the first floor for one week.
• Books may also be picked up at the Education and Teaching Library, the Veterinary Medicine Library or the Architecture Library.

You will receive an email when your item is ready in your Interlibrary Services account.

Copyright Restrictions

U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17) governs the reproduction of copyrighted materials. Libraries may provide copies for private study, scholarship, or research under specific conditions.

If a copy is requested or used in a way that exceeds fair use, the user may be liable for copyright infringement. The Library reserves the right to refuse any request that, in our judgment, would violate copyright law.
