The Inductees of the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame Oral History Project provides excellent primary source material that can be used to enhance students' knowledge and awareness of these outstanding women and their contributions. There are a multitude of in-class activities that can be supplemented by the collection. By spending some time exploring the oral histories, students can discover information on Oklahoma, politics, space, community organizing, art, creativity, leadership, overcoming obstacles, perseverance, education, activism, setting goals and reaching them, and much more.

The Oklahoma Oral History Research Program has created lesson plans for the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project as well as a teacher/parent resource page for to the Indians, Outlaws, and Angie Debo documentary. Angie Debo is a 1984 inductee in the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame, as are many women who have served in the Oklahoma Legislature. You can browse these lesson plans here:
