Science Cafe: Yellowstone National Park
January 17, 2018
In this program, Dr. Julie Angle, associate professor, Science and Mathematics program, College of Education, Health and Aviation, will describe her work with Yellowstone rangers, her interviews of Yellowstone researchers, and her explorations of Yellowstone’s amazing trails in order to develop engaging science lessons for middle school.
Program Partners include OSU Student Chapter, National Science Teachers Association; College of Education, Health & Aviation Ambassadors; Kappa Kappa Iota; Elementary Educators of Tomorrow; College of Education, Health & Aviation Student Council; OSUTeach Club and Kappa Delta Pi.
Science Café OSU highlights interesting, relevant and current science research. Monthly events offer lively and engaging conversations about science, and feature informal presentations, refreshments, door prizes and Q&A. No science background is assumed or required.
