"Role of Chitosan and Chitosan-Based Nanomaterials in Plant Sciences" is a collection of articles to stimulate research in using chitosan-based nanomaterials and foster further interest for researchers, academicians, and scientists worldwide. The chapters depict the current advances occurring in understanding the chitosan-nanomaterials-based delivery system in plants. It is arranged in three sequences. The first few chapters introduce various methods explored in preparing chitosan-based nanoparticles. The next set of chapters focuses on the impact of chitosan-based nanomaterials in use as fertilizer in various parts of the world. The next set of chapters focuses on the physiological, morphological, biochemical, and molecular regulation of chitosan and chitosan-based nanoparticles in plants in normal conditions as well as during different stresses, and their probable mechanism of operation in the tolerance mechanisms.
