Jennifer Hays-Grudo
Author of "Adverse and Protective Childhood Experiences: A Developmental Perspective"

Jennifer Hays-Grudo, Ph.D., is a Regents Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa where she is the Principal Investigator and Director of the Center for Integrative Research on Childhood Adversity (CIRCA), an $11.3 million NIH grant. Prior to that she was the department head of Human Development and Family Science at OSU and a George Kaiser Chair of Community Medicine at OU-Tulsa. She is the author with Dr. Amanda Morris of the first scholarly book on Adversity Childhood Experiences, "Adverse and Protective Childhood Experiences" published in March 2020 by the American Psychological Association and is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the international journal "Adversity and Resilience Science."
