Cassidy Petrazzi

Co-Curator of "Cimarron National 2019"

Cassidy Petrazzi, M.A. is an art historian, curator and the current Director of the Gardiner Gallery of Art at Oklahoma State University. Petrazzi received her BFA from NYSCC at Alfred University, Alfred, NY, studying under Peer Bode in the Department of Expanded Media. In 2019, she received her M.A. in Art History from Oklahoma State University. Petrazzi’s research interests are focused on Fluxus, and include theories of temporality, the corporeal experience of performance and time-based works, the history of food and the representations and expressions of gender. She completed her master’s thesis on Fluxus founder Alison Knowles. Before arriving in Stillwater in 2016, Petrazzi worked in contemporary fine art galleries in New York City. She worked as associate producer on “George: The Story of George Maciunas and Fluxus,” (2018) a documentary portrait of Fluxus impresario George Maciunas. Petrazzi is currently curating exhibitions of work by Rafael Corzo and Brianna Harlan, two New York City based visual artists.
