Errick Braggs started his career in 1995 after graduating OSU-IT with an associate degree in graphic design. he worked in the advertising agency industry for several years until after the birth of his first child, when he transitioned his career path to corporate, in-house design jobs.

In 2008, Errick began working as a senior graphic designer, with OSU’s fire protection publications. not only does he work for Oklahoma's greatest university, but he also earned a B.F.A. from OSU in 2014. putting his education and experience to good use, he helps produce training manuals and educational materials for professional firefighters.
Errick said, "Fire protection publications' books are widely used within the united states but are also translated into nine other languages and used worldwide. the impact of my work here saves lives and changes the world, and I love that.”

This edition of "Hazardous Materials Technician" is intended to help firefighters and first responders train to meet the job performance requirements of the National Fire Protection Association's standard 1072. The textbook provides the information and skills needed to become Technician Level hazardous materials responders, the most highly skilled professionals at hazardous materials incidents. The book includes advanced skills for responding to hazardous materials incidents and information on the chemistry and dangers of hazardous materials.

"Structural Fire Fighting: Initial Response Strategy and Tactics, Second Edition" is a fire service training textbook intended to meet Fire and Emergency Services for Higher Education learning outcomes for the course "Strategies and Tactics" as established by the United States National Fire Academy. The book is intended to be taught at Associates level over the course of a college semester. The book is also used to enhance the knowledge and skills of fire and safety officers already working in the fire service and is often assigned as independent study for firefighters seeking promotion. The book contains information about leadership on the fire ground, "reading" smoke and fire conditions and fire science.

This edition of "Hazardous Materials for First Responders" is intended to help firefighters train to meet the job performance requirements of the National Fire Protection Association's standard 1072. The textbook provides entry-level candidates the information and skills needed to become Awareness Level and/or Operations Level hazardous materials responders. The book also includes special competency areas for hazardous materials responders including use of personal protective equipment, product control, and decontamination.

"Building Construction Related to the Fire Service, Fourth Edition" is a fire service training textbook intended to meet Fire and Emergency Services for Higher Education (FESHE) learning outcomes for the course "Building Construction for Fire Protection" as established by the United States National Fire Academy. The book is intended to be taught at Associates level over the course of a college semester. The book is also useful for a variety of fire service positions such as firefighters, company officers, safety officers, fire inspectors and fire investigators. In addition, this book is often assigned as individual study for firefighters seeking promotion to fire officer.
