Ben Brock

Ben Brock is a Senior Graphic Designer with Fire Protection Publications at Oklahoma State University. He has been with Fire Protection Publications for 20 years, three of which as an intern while a student at Oklahoma State. He received his bachelor of fine arts in 1999. He has collaborated on numerous educational publications, research journals and marketing productions while at FPP. Ben met his wife at FPP 14 years ago and they welcomed their child in 2012.

"Building Construction Related to the Fire Service, Fourth Edition" is a fire service training textbook intended to meet Fire and Emergency Services for Higher Education learning outcomes for the course "Building Construction for Fire Protection" as established by the United States National Fire Academy. The book is intended to be taught at Associates level over the course of a college semester. The book is also useful for a variety of fire service positions such as firefighters, company officers, safety officers, fire inspectors and fire investigators. In addition, this book is often assigned as individual study for firefighters seeking promotion to fire officer.
