Oklahoma State University Libraries continues its Carpentries workshop series with certified instructors from OSU and the University of Central Oklahoma teaching novice learners about the basics of Python, including importing and working with data, looping, graphing, and writing functions. Introduction to Plotting and Programming in Python takes place over a series of three workshops on Feb. 13, 20, and 27, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Carpentries workshops use participatory live coding, encouraging attendees to follow along with instructors and get hands-on experience with coding in a variety of programs. This series will introduce Python, used for data analysis, visualization, and machine learning.
