About the Collection

This collection features glass plate negatives and acetate photographs assembled by Stillwater photographer, writer, and Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College (OAMC) alumnus Robert E. Cunningham (1906–1991). The images document early OAMC, the Stillwater community, and portraits of early residents, offering a rare visual record of campus life and local history.

Digitization and description of this historically significant collection were made possible through a 2018-2019 Improving Access to Collections Grant from the Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and funded by the National Archives' National Historical Publications and Records Commission. The OSU Library is pleased to make this unique memorabilia collection publicly accessible.
