About Open Research Oklahoma

Open Research Oklahoma (ORO) is the institutional repository for Oklahoma State University, launched in 2024 to provide a centralized, openly accessible home for the university's scholarly and creative output. The repository includes theses and dissertations, faculty publications, undergraduate research, open educational resources, and other works that support OSU's land-grant mission. By increasing visibility, discoverability, and long-term preservation, ORO advances teaching, research, extension, outreach, and creative activity across the state.

ORO integrates with Experts Directory, allowing faculty to deposit scholarship directly and make it accessible through their public profiles. Deposited works are preserved by the OSU Library and made discoverable through Google Scholar and other search engines. ORO also supports funder and publisher requirements for open access and provides a platform for sharing manuscripts, conference materials, data, white papers, and other research outputs.
