About the Collection

The Oklahoma Audio Almanac features 176 short radio segments that highlight historically significant events from Oklahoma’s past. Produced by Steven Knoche Kite, a history Ph.D. student working in the OSU Library Archives, and Kelly Burley, then News Director at KOSU, the series aired weekly from May 2000 to May 2004.

The digital collection provides access to all episodes in MP3 format along with transcripts, preserving this engaging public history resource for researchers, educators, and listeners.
