Communication Services

The mission of Library Communication Services is to tell the Library’s story, connect patrons with the Library, and provide Library employees the communication resources they need to succeed in their work.

The department is available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the University’s operating schedule and remain on call for media inquiries.

What we do:

• Provide both internal and external promotions of events, collections, services and other projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries.
• Manage Library social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, O-State TV, Pinterest and Blogger.
