Wikipedia Edit-a-thon: Native American Artist
Anna McDougal, the spring 2015 Wikipedia Intern, lead a Library-hosted Edit-a-thon. Participants learned the basics of creating and editing a Wikipedia page and build a page for various artists represented in the Oklahoma Native Artist Oral History Collection.
HistoryPin: Virtual Tour Development
The HistoryPin Interns built the Library's HistoryPin presence from the ground up, including multiple virtual tours of campus through the ages.
24-Hour Access, Spring 2013
Each semester, the Communication Services Interns develop a mini-campaign to announce the 24-hour access during Finals and Pre-Finals Weeks. Concepts, strategies and tactics are all developed in hands-on collaboration with full-time team.
Halloween Special Promotion, 2013
Interns participated in the conceptualization, writing and shooting of a short feature video, and in promotions of a social media contest and press kit highlighting ghost reports in the Library. This campaign was honored with 2nd place for "Best Use of Social Media" by the Oklahoma College Public Relations Association in 2013.
